The Root + GMC Acadia
In partnership with GMC Acadia, I created a video series that features celebrity stylist, June Ambrose chatting with her guests' florist & PR maven, Kilee Hughes and textile designer, Hana Getachew sharing their journey, exploring the source of their creative inspiration. In developing this idea, I pitched it to the client, wrote the creative treatments, wrote the scripts and managed all of the talent and production budgets. Between achieving creative freedom, becoming an entrepreneur, and remaining inspired in their always-evolving industries, this series took the viewer on a creative journey with three superlative women always in search of ingenuity.
My Role:
Create and pitch an idea in response to GMC’s RFP that aligned with GMC’s goals of highlighting creative women sharing their inspiring journey.
Securing June Ambrose as a host; research thought-leaders /influential women in the creative space.
Lead the development of the creative treatments of the interview; Partner with our production company on storyboards and shot lists.
Managed budget; Securing permits and locations for vanity shots of the GMC Acadia to be featured.
Secure crew of hairstylists, MUA’s and wardrobe for each subject.
Manage creative approval every step of the way.
